Michigan Language Assessment has provided secure, reliable, and trusted international English exams for more than 70 years. With the Michigan English Test (MET), we continue this tradition.

-
Simple to prepare for
MET tests a student's ability to communicate in English, not their ability to memorize vocabulary. With a full resource library of sample tests and curriculum guides for students and teachers, you'll feel confident your students are prepared for test day.
-
Flexible
Students can choose between taking their MET at home or at an Authorized Test Center. Accommodations are available so that every test taker can do their best.
-
Backed by two of the world's leaders in education
MET is a respected and reliable measure of English language proficiency that's backed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment and The University of Michigan.
